Características da Produção Acadêmica sobre Governança Corporativa no Setor Público Divulgadas no Web of Science no Período 1995-2013

RESUMO
O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a produção acadêmica do tema governança corporativa (GC) no setor público divulgados na base de dados Web of Science de 1995 a 2013. Metodologicamente, utilizou-se a bibliometria para mensurar os dados dos 51 artigos encontrados neste estudo. Os principais achados foram: apesar da evolução do tema GC no setor público no período analisado, o mesmo ainda se encontra em um estagio incipiente na literatura acadêmica internacional; Australian Journal of Public Administration, Journal of Business Ethics e Accounting Auditing & Accountability Journal, foram as revistas que mais publicaram; e os temas mais recorrentes, ou seja, os que se destacaram nos 51 estudos identificados foram: economia e negócios; e administração pública, aparecendo em 21 e 15 manuscritos respectivamente. A contribuição deste estudo encontra-se no panorama da evidenciação de dados e informações sobre um tema ainda pouco discorrido no âmbito acadêmico internacional.
